It all started when a British guy fell smitten with an American girl wearing a black dress….. Tristan saw Andrea at a party in Toronto. (Where Andrea and Tristan live now)

Eventually he had the courage to “chat her up “, and the happy ending of this story is a beautiful wedding in Canton , Ohio. ( Andrea’s home town ).  I was so lucky and honored to document this gorgeous wedding. In the English tradition, and in honor of Tristan’s late Mum, many women wore hats. We need to take up this custom in the USA, ladies!  All day, I was so tempted to try out my accent, but Genevieve kept me in check. I did find myself using more words like “lovely” and “brilliant, and my fave.. “its grand ” ( eye roll from Genevieve ). How could you not? 

The Lovely day began at Fieldcrest Estates, Where the sweetest first look took place… 

Special shout out to Yevhen, my fun guest second shooter, and always to Genevieve,  super assistant . You might remember that Genevieve and I traveled to London for her senior photos, so you can imagine how chuffed we were to photograph this wedding … ( using some British slang, to get you in the mood)

When Andrea was five, she wore these Dino high tops for a whole year… her father still keeps them in his office. Andrea had a feeling, they would make an appearance , so she had something special planned…

She found an artist on Etsy to recreate them in adult size for the first dance!!!   Perfection!

Its a tradition that the groom make the cake… Tristan baked the cake and iced it, and Andrea’s mother made the icing flowers… but… the knife broke in the cake!
