Hello friends! Most people associate “wedding photographer” when they think of me. Its true I photograph about 85% weddings, but I do love photographing a sweet family. Especially if the family is a former bride and groom. I love watching their love stories turn into life stories, turning into new families and milestones. I photographed Mary Lynn and Tommy’s wedding a few years ago, and then wee Finn when he was one. Im always so honored to be asked back to document their lives again. This time I got to photograph little Rowan, who was just two weeks old. I loved holding her , playing with her little feet, and snuggling with a new born. Its been awhile for me, but holding a little one immediately takes you back. All that joy and love ( plus exhaustion) churning around in a new family. Finn was a very proud and happy big brother, showing off his room and books and little sister to me. I was so happy to spend a few hours and capture their lives in this precious little moment. Thanks Mary Lynn and Tommy- I can’t wait for # 3… who Im sure will have a beautiful Irish name.

Fun Fact- Mary Lynn and Tommy have a “Karen wall”, full of framed wedding and family photos over their couch. I did a happy dance to see my work in their home, but Im giving them HUGE high fives for getting those memories off of the computer and on to the wall. Thanks ML & T!
