Amanda and Matt at the Cleveland Museum of Art, complete with one amazing jumpsuit! Cleveland Engagement Session Photographer
These two cuties! I met up with Amanda and Matt on a gorgeous sun shiny night in Cleveland In June. The Cleveland Museum of Art and Wade Oval were stunning that day! I love this location for a Cleveland engagement session, it never dissapoints.
I was immediately taken with their fun energy and easy smiles. Sometimes couples might take a few minutes to warm up at an engagement session, but these two jumped into engagement vogueing right away. I think the magic ingredient on this shoot was Amanda’s pantsuit. It’s her favorite. She looks and feels like a million bucks in it. I usually suggest to my couples to bring two outfits or looks to change into. When she was discussing their wardrobe choices with Matt, he said one word only – ” JUMPSUIT”. Then history was made. Would this shoot be as cute and fun without said jumpsuit? Possibly, but we will never know.
Just an FYI, if that jumpsuit goes missing from your closet Amanda, it wasn’t me…….
By the way, The Cleveland Museum of Art has a fab show called Proof- Photography in the era of the contact sheet , which sings to my photographer’s heart. There are huge portraits of Marilyn Monroe hanging in the front and back of the museum. It’s a show of the contact sheets of of some of the great works of amazing photographers in the second half of the century. Covid 19 put my plans on hold to see it, but its still in Cleveland until August 2. I will be really sad to see Marlyn go!
Thanks Amanda and Matt (and jumpsuit)! Nick and I had lots of laughs photographing you!
