Patrick and Dan had the sweetest Cleveland Same sex Jewish wedding on October 24th in front of friends and family. They had originally planned for a huge wedding in a swanky venue, but Covid had other plans. My heart went out to them through out the year, as they weighed their choices about the wedding. Keeping friends and family safe was the top priority for the day, and they downsized the wedding to a small luncheon affair.

I want to personally thank them for caring about the guests and keeping their safety # 1 in planning for the ceremony. Im also really glad they decided to downsize to a sweet cozy little wedding with with close friends and family. Now I will be the first one to tell you how much fun it is to have a full dance floor and loud cheers from friends, but there is something to be said about a small wedding. It’s intimate, and casual. I find there are so many more quiet and calm moments, and the day just gets to unfold organically and breath. Patrick and Dan were able to keep everyone close during the day, and to have conversations with them. Extra hugs and laughs were had by all.

Dan and Patrick didn’t forget their friends. They were able to live stream the vows on facebook. I saw a great photo later on their facebook feed of friends viewing the ceremony on a large screen tv over the fireplace in their home.

The Ceremony and luncheon was held at L’Abatros Brassie and Bar. The venue has a gorgeous patio that was still in glorious fall color. Perfectly Planned by Val and Blush Custom Weddings created a gorgeous chuppah.
